Crit with Nick
6:30-8:30p Sat March 14, 2015
$20 online or at door
deb3321 conducts critique/discussion sessions the second Saturday of every month at 6:30pm. We believe it is necessary for those making work to have an opportunity to show their work, see others works and participate in a dialogue that provides insight and challenge. Sessions without invited participants are free.
For March’s session, Nick Brown will be the invited guest critic. Nick will discuss each participant’s work. Nick uses the approach of constructive criticism, a friendly collaborative approach which provides thoughtful and skilled observation with the intent of raising performance standards.
Just since 2015, Nick is/will be exhibiting at (January): Torrance Art Museum, Sincerely Yours. La Sierra University, Riverside, CA. (February): San Diego Art Institute, MAS Attack 8. Coachella Valley Art Center, LA n CV 2, A Survey of Contemporary Art in LA. Nick is also featured in Fabrik, Issue 26. Fresh Faces in Art: Eight Los Angeles Artists You Should Know.
Please bring your artwork or we can project images and/or your website.
