Karen's back! and will be joining us for our first Saturday of the month deb3321 critique session this November 1st. Karen will give us a good chat about how to look at work and how to critique it. To paraphrase from Karen's excellent book for artists, "Getting Your Sh*t Together, we anticipate she may cover the respectful critique environment, use of terms and vocabulary appropriate for discussion of professional work, receptivity to diverse viewpoints and consider multiple viewpoints, such as cultural specificity, political standpoint, race, gender, sexuality, and formal and conceptual ideas.
